Reading-level preference
When you select Clinical or Patient-friendly on a service page, the website stores only that reading preference in session storage for the current browser tab. This helps retain your choice between service pages. It contains no symptom, patient, or contact information and is not submitted to the practice.
What the local interactive guide does
Selections in the signs guide are held only in the current page. They are not submitted, placed in a URL, saved in browser storage, or transferred to the evaluation tool. Reloading or leaving the page clears them. Site search runs against the public page index.
External services and hosting
Opening the evaluation, social channels, research links, or maps takes you to another service. That service’s privacy practices apply. Hosting services may process ordinary request information such as an IP address to deliver and protect the website. This site does not include advertising pixels or analytics scripts.
Optional Instagram players
Video and carousel articles display locally hosted cover images. Instagram content loads only after you select the Load Instagram control. That action connects your browser to Instagram, which may process your IP address, browser information, and cookies under its own policies. You may read every written article without loading the external player. The original-post link is always available as an alternative.
Patient records and privacy questions
Do not send medical records through social media messages or a general website link. Contact the office to request its secure transfer process and applicable patient privacy notice. Website information is distinct from the privacy practices that govern clinical care.
